A Word From Malachi is dedicated to my brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ that are in the midst of persecution. There are place in this world where it will cost one every thing they have, even their life to name the name of Christ. Pray God will under gird them with His faithful Spirit as they stand upon the firm foundation of His word… it is the only foundation that will remain unshakable in a time of trouble. Malachi will also address convicting truths as to why the church in America is not in the midst of the same. Pray God will have mercy on the church in America when His judgement comes.
Malachi- (Hebrew) “my messenger” Date: most date the writing between 450-400BC Malachi was sent by God as a rebuke to His people for their neglect of the true worship of the Lord and called them to repentance. Approximately 100 years had passed since the nation had left there seventy-years of captivity and had returned to Palestine. The city of Jerusalem and the second temple had been built, but the initial enthusiasm had worn off. Following a period of revival, the people and priest had backslid-den and become mechanical in their observation of the law. Though they had become lax in obedience to God’s word, they could not understand why God was dissatisfied with them.
My name is Dennis Daniel and I pastor a small community church in Atmore, Alabama Saint Paul Community Church. Some time back the Lord spoke to my heart while studying in the Old Testament book of Malachi. It is a timely message for the New Testament church living some 2,500 years later. Truly the word of God is quick, sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
If for some reason you feel the spirit of conviction while reading the articles posted on ‘A Word From Malachi’, I beseech you that you find a place of obedience. For we are not our own, we have been bought with a price.

Bro. Dennis,
Yes, Atmore.
I am familiar with Atmore as of about fifty years ago. Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, lived in Birmingham, Anniston, Opelika, my wife had relatives in Mobile and traveled the whole state of AL — all before I trusted Jesus Christ as my Savior in Florida at age 35, forty three years ago.
Keep up the good work for our Savior.. Rescue the perishing. Feed the flock. Encourage them to share their faith.
You are right on target — we believers may not have much time before we become the martyrs about whom we read.
I have added you to my RSS feed.
In Christ eternally,
ExP(Jack)
Pastor Dennis,
After reading so much on this blog, I can tell you that I am ashamed of myself and rebuke myself in Jesus name for my lukewarmness. I repent, and with the Holy Spirit’s help, I will not be silent any longer. It was a divine appointment that brought me here, thank you for your honest words……May our gracious, forgiving Lord Jesus bless you & protect you…….Theresa
Thank you, Pastor Dennis, for your faithfulness to bring the truth to a perishing world. May God bless you and protect you. You are a blessing!
No, thank you Marianne, not only for being a faithful reader of ‘A Word From Malachi’ but one who openly and unabashedly stands for the truth of God’s word. I would to God that there were more like you (salt and light) in the church in America today.
I pray His rich blessing in continuing to grow you in His word and that He will give the both of us courage to stand upon that firm foundation when opposition comes.
Peace in Yeshua
