In northern Nigeria, Muslims have instituted Sharia Law—the strictest Islamic legal code. Christians dominate the Nigerian population, so the Islamic leaders insist that the law only applies to domestic matters for Muslims. However, the Christians know better. Hundreds of their churches have already been destroyed. If they are rebuilt, they are burned down again. Many Christians are being martyred.

In the city of Kaduna in northern Nigeria, one church leader claims that Muslim extremists have placed a bounty on the heads of all Christian leaders, offering one hundred thousand naira (about one thousand U.S. dollars) for each one killed. Likewise, there was also a bounty on Christ’s head, and he was betrayed for just thirty pieces of silver.
With the continued threat, some believers are contemplating fighting back. But one Christian leader recently challenged believers in Kaduna: “In the midst of this we need to remember our Lord’s teaching about turning evil to good and patiently suffering in the face of what is happening. And because Nigeria is a proclaimed democracy, there is a responsibility for Christians to make sure everyone is treated justly and fairly.”
Christ delivered a similar challenge almost two thousand years ago: “‘Love the Lord your God’ . . . This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Matthew 22:37–39).

It was midnight when officers burst into their home and abruptly awakened Eskinder Menghis and his wife and three children. They walked out to find agents with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior ransacking their home.

“What are you doing? You have no right to destroy our home like this.”
“And you have no right to practice your religion in the land of Mohammed! You were warned before you came to leave your religion behind.” The officer pushed Eskinder out the door as the others gathered up the Bibles, hymnals, photos albums, audiotapes, and anything else they could use as evidence.
Eskinder was brought to the police headquarters for interrogation, leaving behind his frightened wife and children. Eskinder and his family are Ethiopian Christians. They are among the many foreigners who make up one-third of Saudi Arabia’s population, working in the oil-rich nation. Many of these foreigners are Christians who face a terrible predicament when it comes to expressing their faith.
Many Christians never intend to practice their faith when they go to work in a Muslim nation. But once under the dark cloud of Islam, they begin to look toward heaven and find fellowship with other believers around them. Many even start to witness to their Muslim employers. In Saudi Arabia, converting a Muslim to Christianity carries a death penalty for both parties.

Voice of the Martyr Extreme Devotion is an daily news letter that deals with the commitment and persecution that the body of Christ is immersed in on a daily basis all over the world.

The face of tolerance-

Christians chased out of Castro / Market Streets….

Iran? Nigeria? North Korea? China?  Indonesia?

No! The United States of America, San Francisco, CA.

Quite a testimony of tolerance?

tol⋅er⋅ance    /ˈtɒlərəns/  [tol-er-uhns]

noun

1. a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one’s own; freedom from bigotry.

2. a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward opinions and practices that differ from one’s own.

3. interest in and concern for ideas, opinions, practices, etc., foreign to one’s own; a liberal, undogmatic viewpoint.

4. the act or capacity of enduring; endurance: My tolerance of noise is limited.

O LORD, you persuaded me, and I allowed myself to be persuaded. You are stronger than I am, and you overpowered me. Now I am mocked by everyone in the city. Whenever I speak, the words come out in a violent outburst. “Violence and destruction!” I shout. So these messages from the LORD have made me a household joke. And I can’t stop! If I say I’ll never mention the LORD or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am weary of holding it in! I have heard the many rumors about me. They call me “The Man Who Lives in Terror.” And they say, “If you say anything, we will report it.” Even my old friends are watching me, waiting for a fatal slip. “He will trap himself,” they say, “and then we will get our revenge on him.” But the LORD stands beside me like a great warrior. Before him they will stumble. They cannot defeat me. They will be shamed and thoroughly humiliated. Their dishonor will never be forgotten. Jeremiah 20:7-11

The spirit that is personified in the radical Islamic religion and the radical homosexual movement is a spirit of hate and intolerance. It shall not relent until it has shut the mouth of all of Christendom. Hear and see their testimony!

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith.

    In Christ Jesus!

    • Thanks Jeremy for stopping in and for taking the time to comment. I have checked out your web site and blog and found the both of them to be grounded in the truth of His word. Your emphasis on a ‘church that needs to return to her Lord and His word is spot on. If there is ever a day in which the church has forsaken the word of God for nothing more than the lust of the flesh, it is the day in which we are preaching. Case in point is the opposition that we are seeing from the reprobate mind. The church wants to be so careful that they do not offend that they have forsaken the clear teaching of God’s word for nothing more than the pleasures of sin for a season; and that not only them that do, but have pleasure in them that do them. I ought not to be.

Case in point- Rick Warren just released this statement….

said in a video message to his church that he doesn’t equate homosexual relationships with incest or pedophilia, but opposes redefining marriage just as any conservative Christian would.
“I have in no way ever taught that homosexuality is the same thing as a forced relationship between an adult and a child, or between siblings,” Warren said. “I was trying to point out I’m not opposed to gays having their partnership. I’m opposed to gays using the term marriage for their relationship.”

This is the same type of tippy-toe preaching that has melted the church into the mold of the world. A church that is afraid to call sin, sin. A church that is looking for the world to join hands with them and sing Kumbaya My Lord, Kumbaya. A church that will wind up lukewarm and well prepared to be spewed out of her Lord’s mouth.

We need to continue to pray for our brothers and sisters that are in the midst of the fire of persecution that our faithful Lord will under gird them by His Spirit and pray that as it waxes strong in America, that he will give us the same courage to stand for Him and His word.

      Peace in Yeshua

  4. May Christ d be with us and may we stand our ground in fatih and righteousness for him!

    • Thanks Marianne for stopping by ‘A Word From Malachi’. Yes, Christ is with us and them that stand His ground for the gospel. He promised, I will never leave or forsake you. Whether it be in life or death, He is faithful and His word is a sure foundation in the midst of the storm. We must keep our brothers and sisters lifted before the throne of grace, as we will nee them to lift us when the prosecution comes our way. It will most assuredly come our way. His word is true.

  5. Very well said Brother, very well said! Rick Waren is very dangerous.

  6. About the Muslims – Why is persecution such a surprise? The Koran, their bible, tells them to kill non-muslims. Realize that Muslims are ordered to rape, fight and kill infidels (non-Muslims). Check out their bible, the Koran (Qur’an) chapter (surah):verse (avat) 2:39, 2:254, 2:259, 3:23, 3:28, 4:3 (rape), 4:49 (kill) 4:76, 4:91 (kill), 8:15-16, 8:55, 8:59-60, 9:05 (kill), 9:5, 9:29 (fight), 9:39, 9:111 (kill), 9:123, 33:26-27 (kill), 47:4 (kill), 58:22, 64:14, 70:29-30

    • Thanks Fred for stopping by ‘A Word From Malachi’. I personally am not surprised at their (or the homosexual) violent attacks against Christians for our Lord stated..

“These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.”

What I am saddened by, is that governments do not do more to protect the Christians as that is a responsibility that God has given. And with this position of authority, they will be held accountable.

“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”

      With regard to your statement?

      “The Koran, their bible, tells them to kill non-muslims. Realize that Muslims are ordered to rape, fight and kill infidels (non-Muslims). Check out their bible, the Koran (Qur’an) chapter (surah):verse (avat) 2:39, 2:254, 2:259, 3:23, 3:28, 4:3 (rape), 4:49 (kill) 4:76, 4:91 (kill), 8:15-16, 8:55, 8:59-60, 9:05 (kill), 9:5, 9:29 (fight), 9:39, 9:111 (kill), 9:123, 33:26-27 (kill), 47:4 (kill), 58:22, 64:14, 70:29-30”

Even more of a reason for government to reign in this satanic delusion, unless the government is controlled by the same spirit.

      Peace malachi
